Letter to client:
I wanted to touch base with you and give you an update on I.O.M. I’m very excited that the webpage and the support are now up and running just how Dr. Terry promised. We both know that when we first launched this project and for those of you who jumped on board right away the support and webpage didn’t meet Dr. Terry or TNR’s standards. Dr. Terry quickly corrected this and not only made the support excellent but the webpage itself is so much more user friendly.
Here is the purpose of this email, I’m personally using I.O.M. in my office and I see a couple of great things happening. We have incorporated it right in our Important Patient Records Procedure and it allows us to get data on all of our new patients and to re-categorize them from day one. Let me explain, if the patient goes right home and fills the I.O.M. survey out they are letting you know that they are really interested in care and they are excited about the ROF coming up. If they don’t, you know as the doctor that you have some more work to do and that you need to paint a clearer picture through your procedure. Now that right there is awesome on a couple levels. You get to see how involved your patient is right from the beginning, you have a baseline study on their physical, mental and social wellbeing to compare at the progressive exam and ROF and I.O.M. gains the data it needs to produce the research studies for our profession. I just love that it is a win-win situation all around.
Marketing wise, this was interesting for me. We made up a hundred or so of the post cards right from the I.O.M. website and we gave them to our doctors to have on hand so when they were out in the public and they met someone who was on the fence about Chiropractic they just gave them the I.O.M. post card and explained to them what to do and told them to fill out the survey. For the individuals who enjoyed the conversation but really weren’t interested they probably just tossed the card in the circular file but for the ones that went to the webpage and filled the survey out they are now coming towards you. The webpage informs you that someone filled out the survey; you contact them and invite them to come to the office to review the results and for a consultation. Very few times in my career in Chiropractic have a seen a procedure generate hot leads like this.
Ok let me get to the point as you can tell I’m excited about this. It WORKS great, PERIOD. I encourage you to give Dr. Terry a call at 858-229-5519 and let him review all the details with you on how to get started. I know you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been with IOM since Terry spoke to the group last year and Its much better this time around. I have already seen results from handing out IOM cards and I love using their response or lack thereof to educate myself and staff as to the quality of patient we are dealing with.
